We've bid farewell to a few more staff members recently as they head off to chase summer overseas. But we've also been lucky enough to welcome a few more new faces to the Skydive Franz team.
Christina, from Germany, joins the Skydive Franz team this month as ground crew and driver. Christina is on her gap year travels and recently did her first skydive as part of the job induction.
"I did the 19,000ft skydive, it was awesome," says Christina. "I really loved it and I'm thinking about becoming a skydiver."
Cordelia, from the US, was feeling burnt out in her job as a social worker and impulsively bought a plane ticket to New Zealand. Luckily for us she's keen to spend a bit of her spare time learning the ropes at the dropzone. Her parents live near Lodi, California which is a mecca for skydiving.
"After New Zealand I'll go to South East Asia then head home and learn how to skydive and get certified and see if it's something I want to do as a job," says Cordelia.
Jarad is here for about a month as a skydive cameraman. We're all heading over to Ashburton for the Kiwi Boogie 2016 in our Pilatus Porter skydive plane at the end of the month and Jarad will be able to hitch a ride with us back to the east coast.
~ Welcome to the Skydive Franz team Christina, Cordelia and Jarad, it's great to have you here.
