Jump Details

Tandem skydiving is the fastest, easiest and safest way for an inexperienced skydiver to enjoy the thrill of jumping out of a plane, free falling through the sky at 200kph/120mph and floating safely to the ground under a parachute. The system includes a harness and parachute system for both the passenger and the instructor to share, so you can simply enjoy the thrill of the experience knowing your instructor has everything under control.

Nestled between New Zealand’s highest mountains, the Tasman Sea, stunning temperate rainforest, glowing glaciers, mirror lakes and braided river beds, Franz Josef Glacier has been described as one of the most beautiful place on earth. For this reason and many others, the region was included in the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Area.

We also offer jumps from 16,500 and 20,000 ft!

Photography Packages

All skydive videos include a pre-jump interview, footage on your way to altitude in the plane, scenery and free-falls shots and a post-jump interview.

1) Handcam: Inside Camera – NZ$150

Choose to be filmed by your Tandem Master and get the up-close shots that will capture every expression as you free fall from the plane. This package films the entire skydive experience from a close – up wide angle lens.

2) Personal Photographer – Outside Camera – (currently unavailable, sorry for any inconvenience caused)

A personal photographer is a separate skydiver who jumps with you wearing the camera equipment on their helmet. The outside perspective includes full panoramic views over the beautiful region, during your freefall experience. A jumping buddy that will capture you pre-jump and meet you on the ground for a post jump interview.

3) Best of Both Worlds Combo – Personal Photographer & Handcam – NZ$259

This epic experience of a lifetime can be captured in two different ways, includes photos and videos from both your Tandem Masters handcam and your personal photographer.

Booking Terms and Conditions:

Package deals are non-refundable but are transferable. The Kayak Tour is an all-weather activity and provides equipment for all the activities in any weather. However, should your skydive be cancelled due to inclement weather, a refund for the skydiving portion of the package will be applicable if we cannot reschedule your skydive within the time of your stay.

This package is for a minimum of 2 people.
